Brenham Runners Association

The Brenham Runner's Association is a non-profit, all volunteer organization of like minded enthusiasts living in Brenham and the surrounding communities.  We are a group of runners varying in ability and experience who enjoy coming together to challenge, promote and encourage our members.  Our goal is a healthy physical fitness attitude, fun, service and fellowship.

What We Do

• Create an opportunity for a group of enthusiasts to meet on a regular basis
• Create a community within this group by encouragement and comradery  
• Promote runs and events for groups or individuals to participate in
• Provide an opportunity or place for new members of the community to associate
• Provide an out for moms and dads
• Promote healthy fitness attitudes

B.R.A. member Troy Sikes, who ran his first marathon in 1987, set competing in the Boston Marathon as one of his goals. He finally got the chance to run in it this year!  Congrats Troy!!!

B.R.A. and City of Brenham hosted the Jingle Bell Stroll 5k on December 4, 2010

 The Pink Ladies ran the Austin Half Marathon on Valentine's Day!  (Julie Dujka, Leslie Harrell and Valerie Dietz)
